Questions
Does this give off uvb light and if it does what percent. I got a baby peacock slider and I want to make sure it does so he can have good shell growth
- No. You will need a fluorescent light for that. This one provides the needed warmth.

does this provide uva as still as heat
- It does not produce significant like many halogens, I wouls say it may raise my tank by 5f top

Can I use this instead of an incandescent bulb?
- I use the dual lamp for my ball python. You get both the heat lamp and incandescent light...most repitles needs both to stay healthy. The mini bulbs last alot longer for what I have experienced.
