DOES NOT HEAT UP
Warning: NOT compatible with the zilla low profile lamp despite being advertised as such— purchased 4 of these mini che bulbs and none of them would heat up in my zilla lamp. The very same lamp DOES work and heats up using mini halogen bulbs. The worst part is this seems to be an issue for some years now and they’ve done nothing to fix it. My boyfriend owned this fixture and had used it in the past for his leopard gecko with the same issue— none of the bulbs he bought would heat up so he ended up returning them all. This was YEARS ago. I considered that possibly, they’d fixed the issue since then. Nope. Countless shared experiences online as well.
No, I do not recommend this product.

What size tank is this recommended for? We have a Zilla 12x12x15. Does it need to be printed on the top? What fixture would you recommend for it, especially since we’d like to not have the mesh completely open because we want to maintain higher humidity.
- I have a 40-gallon tank for our Ball Python, I use this at nighttime for heat on the warm side of her tank.

will this fit a "Zilla Mini Halogen Reptile Dome Heat Lamp"?
- Yes in that it does fit in the socket but no in that it will stick out past the edge of the light so it would have to be mounted inside the enclosure as it cannot set on the lid. Hope that helps. Wish I could attach a pic.
