I purchased this specific bulb at a local Petco to me on Tuesday, it is now FRIDAY, and i come home from work and the bulb has blown out. Unfortunately my Petco wont allow me to return bulbs otherwise it'd get returned immediately. I do not recommend this to anyone.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and it worked perfectly but just out of now where blew out and stoped working I checked the lamp it was in and that wasn’t the problem so it must have been the bulb

2 months of use with 12 hr on/off cycles. Found it shattered on the bottom of the tank when I got home. It can have a free star since its blue.

How can this provide “full spectrum light” as the box claims if it doesn’t emit UVB light?

Hey there! Full Spectrum is relative to the light output and does not include UVB. A separate bulb is needed for UVB.

Yes, this would work to raise the temperature. You may also want to look at the Mini Halogens as they are a more efficient bulb that is smaller (looks better), lasts longer, and more efficient (higher heat with lower wattage).

Yes. You would also want to make sure that you were using a UVB lamp as well that provided adequate UVB for desert reptiles.
