My Westie has dry, itchy skin and I was wondering about giving him Zesty Paws Omega Bites. Our weather has been cold and dry and I am certain that has contributed to his dry skin. He will be a year old tomorrow.
My dog has been scratching alot and I just noticed she has hot spots and shedding she is 48.5 pounds do you carry anything for her comfort and healing as shampoos and salves thanks
Do you know anything about Pet Lab Co. Itch relief chews? Koa has allergies and takes Apoquel, I know it's not good for long term use so I would like to find another solution. Thank you
My pup is scratching...tears dropping out of eyes. I bought some Well Good Allergy Aid soft chews.... I just don't know how often I should give him one.
Dog itches like crazy. Body, ears, eyes, mouth, feet, back etc. Tried grain free good dog food. She is on Apoquel. Carrots have been her snack
My dog has been itching and I’ve noticed dry skin and scabbing on certain parts of his body.. sometimes he scratches and bites to the point where it turns red and starts to kind of bleed. Right now I’m using Burt’s and bees itching relief shampoo but I haven’t really seen that it is helping. Is there any topical ointments recommended in store that would be able to relieve it?
The vet suggested Children's Zyrtec. I did that for awhile but he hated it & I hated to force him to take it. He did stop itching & I quit giving it to him. A few months later he started again. I was giving him Allergy vitamin chews & that didn't seem to work. So I stopped all supplements & started back on the Zyrtec. They eat Merrick Grain Free food. I switched to washing all their blankets in Free detergent. I have Burt's Bees hotshot spray; nothing seems to help. Could it be the house dust?
Watering eyes. Itching, hair has come out. Top of tail and down some. Thought mites. Put olive oil -had relief. Dogfood is Tasty Nuggets. Was having rawhide- and purina beggins. Pet Pantry said flea allergin maybe. Owner car wreck gone 7th month- gave. Stopped rawhide & was going to get new dogfood. Have insurance - but not outright . Used borax and peroxide rinse - said for relief mites or itch & gave relief- said once week.
What kind of treatment can I use on my pups itch skin
Itching more then normal. Tried oatmeal shampoo and presently using Vets Best itch and coat pills for about 5 days. Seems to be slightly better.
My dog has seasonal allergies that I can usually control with benadryl and washing him once a week but he seems to be having a bad bout. I added omega 3 supplements to his diet and have been spraying him with "veterinary formula clinical care antiseptic & antifungal spray". I don't know what else I should do. The pictures are of his belly and armpits.
My dog has some seasonal allergies and his skin is always red and itchy, is there something over the counter that I can give him to help relieve the itch? I've been giving him 5mg of liquid benedryl but I can't give him too much of that. He's an 8lb yorkie
