My female cat is allergic to poultry and I am looking for a dental treat for in between brushing that both my cats could eat from. What are your thoughts on ProDen PlaqueOff® Dental Bites for cats, is it worth a try? If so, how often could I give this to them?
Eats core wellness grain free ocean formula because of unknown allergy (licks her paws all the time). Finished a 26 lbs bag already but zero difference. Also taking vetriscience derma strength for few months now. Prefer supplements (chews) that med (Benadryl). There's lawsuit (July 2017) against wellness food (arsenic & lead), should I switch to other brand?if so, which one please? Thanks.
my 10 year old cat as a known flea allergy. it's summer here in New Zealand. I dosed her just before christmas - went away - came back to highly stressed cat - crawling with fleas. vet I took her to said she now has a food allergy as well - to beef and fish. he wants to sell me very expensive food. contacted her normal food company (Purina) - who said, all Friskies range contains beef (and/or fish) but some of their One range - only contains beef FAT - no proteins - no allergic reaction
Hello! My cat may have a food allergy which has made her lick and bite her skin resulting is big patches of hair loss. I've gone through the different foods she's been on and found that chicken by-product meal, animal fat, pork fat, and liver flavour are all used in the food, which I believe can be the culprit. What good quality food do you recommend without these, and that won't break the bank?
What is a good food to give my cat if a suspected food allergy. I’ve tried novelty protein, limited ingredient, cheap brands, expensive brands. She will eat an entire small bag of food and I’ll buy a larger bag and she may not eat that at all. I’ve gone through and wasted so many bags of food. She has small scans/bumps on her head and neck but I took her to the vet in October and he blood work was normal
Product recommendation pls: naturvet Omega gold plus salmon oil chews vs VetriScience derma strength every day health chews; pls see attached pics. Looking for Omega 3 supplement (chews). Nikki eats core wellness grain free ocean flavor. Being using VetriScience, her itchiness from unknown allergy hasn't improved. On the other hand, I would like to know where/how I can get cytopoint, asked my vet but they don't have it. Thanks !
Nutro, Blue Buffalo, Wellness, Taste of the Wild or Rachel Ray Nutrish for dry cat food? Cat has no known allergies or health conditions. Open to other recommendations. Want high quality and natural food that is healthy
The best cat food for skin allergies due to fleas and dust.
My eight year old calico cat was diagnosed by my DVM with herpes and possible food allergies, particularly to chicken. She is given lysine powder daily as prescribed by my vet. She is constantly scratching her face, specifically around her eyes, her ears are hot. The cat is clearly uncomfortable. Would offering her 1/2 a child's Benadryl tab be advisable?
My female cat has a some type of alergy and is broke out on her back to the point that is seeping is there a natural remedy I can use on her.
Does cat have food allergy? Eats merrick chicken limited ingredient wet food; cant have fish (known allergy). After eating the food he will have these scratching fits, seems like skin is irritated, time from time seems like he has throat or mouth discomfort & nose will sometimes look slightly swollen. Also goes at one ear & really digs at it. By next feeding he settles down. But yesterday he didn't seem to want to eat it, had few bites, so gave him plain ground chicken & this AM he vomited it up
Cats ate one of the dogs' vitamins, Fresh Factors. Concerned about the vitamin D via bell liver and Chrondroitin sulfate (bovine source).
