Wrap pet's wound securely, but not too tight to cut off circulation. If open wound, use gauze bandage between wrap and wound. Check often to ensure wounds don't become infected or that the wrap is too tight. Simply rip end and press onto the wrapped strip to secure in place.

Our pitbull x plotthound hurt the tip of her tail through vigorous wagging. While nothing is broken we can’t seem to prevent her from licking at it which is obviously preventing the small wound from healing. We put her in an E-collar but she is long and so is her tail. When unattended she is able to lick at it. Wrapping the wound has been challenging since it’s at the tip of a very waggle tail. Any advii Ice on wrapping this wound so it can heal in peace would be much appreciated.
Our dog has a red bump or scrape on the top of her paw. She seems to be acting ok, just licking it a lot. We tried to clean it with peroxide and wrap it but she is trying to take the bandage off
My puppy just got spayed 2 days ago and she hates the cone so I was wondering if it is okay to apply this nutri vet bitter bandage around her tummy where her stitches are, just not sure though because it says do not appply directly on open wounds or sores. is that considered an open wound?
Bacio eats his hair and then he licks them raw and won't stop. We have tried the cone and the innertube collar,it heals and we take the collar off and he'sback at it again. we also tried the bitter spray and hot sauce and bitter band aids.
I had 2 fur baby's one was very ill with Cushing's we had to put her to sleep in April. The last straw was her constant licking of her front paws to the point of constant infections eventually a cone 24/7. My other dog never did it until about a month ago. Now what can I do to stop this behavior my other dog could no longer walk. I can't loose this one too. I've tried all the bitter sprays, i have bitter vet wrap but that's going to make him concentrate only on his paws. He's in a cone now too.
What’s the best way to treat the cut on my dog’s paw? We’ve been spraying it with the skin spray (pictured), bandages and wraps and doing our best to keep him from licking it. The inflatable donut was ineffective so we’ll pick up a cone today. Thanks in advance!
I wrapped my dogs foot in powerflex bandage and when I came home he had taken it off but I can't find it anywhere. Should I be worried if he ate it?
My 13 yr old Blue heeler started limping on her R front leg a few weeks ago. She had some swelling behind her metatarsals so I ordered a velcro wrap to give her extra support for a sprain. Although the wrap and rest has helped and the swelling is gone from that area, she is very tender with a little swelling over the medial carpal and the last couple days she has been licking at it. I still think its a sprain, but would a splint and more rest be the way to go?
My dog was diagnosed with a partial ACL tear in his rear right leg. He has been prescribed meds and rest and we are keeping him as imobile as possible. Should we try and wrap his leg with any kind of flexible bandage? Or leave it be?
My puppy has this on his leg now and won’t stop crying and licking it He’s gotten a bath and we try to keep it wrap her pulls it it’s been about a day and half now
We just adopted Leela 2 days ago and we noticed this on the back paw. We used polysporin yesterday and wrapped it up over night so she wouldn't lick it. Today, we are out and about, so I used isaderm and wrapped it up again. Is there anything else I should do? How long to heal?
my Dog has a hot spot on her tail and she keeps making it bleed I've washed it with the special soap and put polysporin on it and warped it up but after all that work she pulls it right off and I've done this at least a dozen times how can I apply something she cant just RIP off, shes got a cone on but she can still reach her tail so that didn't do any good
