What can I do to keep my cat from using my neighbors flower garden for a litter box?
I live in NC and home all day due to severe arthritis, during a flare up 2 weeks ago, I was bed bound. Savanna, a small tabby that my son brought home as a kittens few years ago has had a major fright. She was laying on the windowsill next to my bed when despite some grey skies there was a sudden lightning/thunderclap that actually struck a tree in my backyard neighbor's yard. It made both of us jump.Since, when thunder rolls in, she comes to my room with a low growl. She gets violent. Help?
A racoon or possum may be showing interest in my cat flap door that is installed in storm door,... is there anything I can put there over night when closed to repel? Will lavender branch or rosemary or mint keep them away? Will keeping outside flood liget keep them away? Any suggestions or experience will be greatly appreciated. I love in new jersey usa. Thanks and blessings to all there.
dropped a some chocolate coated coffee beans worried my cat ate one
Are rose type plants/petals poisonous for cats?
Emergency my cat was caught by dogs
My neighbor's cat has attacked my new little dog and me while I was trying to protect my dog. Dog was not growling, barking, and just sitting in my lap. Now I'm afraid to take my dog outside to go to the bathroom because that cat has come into the back yard in the past. Is there anything I can do to keep cats from coming into my fenced backyard?
Cat urinating on bed
We have a peach tree in the front yard and my cat likes to get on it. I have never really cared much but now I have become worried because the little peach flowers have blossomed and I'm scared that it'll be toxic to her. Are peach flowers toxic to cats?
If I stepped on/by a Rhododendron, and some Azaleas when I was planting other plants. If I'm not positive that my shoes will survive the washer, because of the material they are made out of, can I just spray them off with the hose? to wash off any Pollen and Sap from the plants so My cats won't get any on their fur or ingest any when they rub against my shoes? I take them off at the door inside but my cats still rub against them so for now they are sitting outside so they can't get to them.
Is it worth it or advised to remove all possibly poisonous plants or just the ones that are especially toxic to cats before getting one? I did some research and my home has around 6 plants that are supposedly poisonous to them, and I want to make sure that the feline won’t just have possibly dangerous substances sitting right next to it. I live in the U.S.
Is it safe to grow some bean plants (the ones humans eat) around the house for him to eat their leaves and play with? Aren't they toxic to cats? Tnx
