Cat Mate
I gave away kittens at 9 weeks. Mama cat is still lactating. Is there a way I can dry up the milk? Medicine? Or at least make her more comfortable?
Zoe was a rescue kitten, adopted in ~2004. Blue fur, silver muzzle, green eyes. Always had danduff & itchiness on her back to the base of her tail. Started ripping out hair on her back ~4-5 years ago, & progressed to stomach & sides. Antihistamines didn't work. Cortisone shot worked for a while, but made her diabetic for a time and wore off long before the diabetes remitted. The biting and hair pulling has continued, and now I sometimes see/feel little scabs on her exposed skin. Help?
4-5 year female cat. Breed unknown. A line approx. 3" long appeared all at once down the front side of front leg. This is the only area affected. Line is near bald with no sign of any irritations or redness. The cat isnt or hasn't been licking this area or scratching. Cat seems unaware. No changes in environment or food. No illnesses or medications. Cat is primarily indoors, but does on occasion relax on patio and driveway. when outdoors cat is not always supervised. Any thoughts on what this i
Female 8?, Unfixed, sudden hind leg weakness, lethargy, vomit x1,
Tazi is a calico cat and she is very shy to everyone in my house except me she will not let anyone else go near her and we had her for a few years now.
We recently let go of 2/4 8week kittens and now the momma cats breast are very large and full and im not sure how to help her
I have a female cat and her 6 month old male kitten. They used to be very close but the mom is now extremely aggressive toward the kitten. They are both fixed now, but it hasn't changed the aggression.
Hi! My 3-year female cat has a black spot in one of her nipples. She is indoor, fully vaccinated and neutered, no more cats around. Any advice?
If the mother isn’t producing milk will she still sit with her kittens
Just noticed this on my female adult cat. She is an indoor cat and there are no other animals in our home. I’m unable to take her to vet because I have no money. I feel terrible.
My white short hair cat has a sore area on her neck underneath her chin. It is approx 5cm round, hairless and has a red margin that is weeping slightly. She does not appear to be licking it. She is an indoor cat but escapes occasionally for short periods. We have another indoor cat too.
My mom and sister recently adopted a 3 month old baby kitten. She has been such an adorable girl. The issue arose when my grandparents as well my dad disagreed o keep her. They aren't really a big fan of pets and im sure that wont change. i really wish for the kitten to grow up in a place where everybody loves her unconditionally. Even if my dad allows her to live at our house, she'll be limited to a single room. Although my mom and sister believe they would take care of her, is it sustainable?
