Is an extending lead for a dog misleading or not ? I have read mixed reviews on extending leads and i can't make up my mind if its ok or not?
PULLING: Off-leash, she walks alongside me. Outside, she wears a comfortable harness(pictured). •I stop and use sit command. If I verbally praise her, she jumps right back up and back to pulling. She doesn’t do treats. If I don’t praise her, she’ll stay until I begin to walk again and she’s back to pulling (repeating steps during entire walk). •Gentle leader. She will not walk and acts too ashamed.
Have a spunky new rescue chihuahua mix and she is skittish. So much so she will resist any efforts to trim her nails. We have 4 dogs so I have trimmed nails hundreds of times--but with Ricki Ricardo, no luck. I sit on the floor and flip them over and cradle them between my legs. My wife distracts them with peanut butter on a spoon. Besides going to a groomer or vet, any ideas? I thought maybe a groomer table might help. Are there premium nail cutters of higher quality than store bought?
How do I correct leash aggression?
Do you have a recommended dental chew bite brand for dogs? For fresh breath
My puppy won't walk when going for a walk and just stares at people and stops to look back at tje same people, but sometimes she "drags" the leach and I usually stop so let ger calm down because it's what i learned to do, but she won't calm down. What should i do?
Could you please recommend an activity tracker for my puppy (one that does not require a monthly subscription)?
My Doxie is 9 y/o and has been licking his paw to the point of inflammation. Any suggestions besides a cone? Thanks, Greg
I have a 4 month old Akita who does not like the leash. What is the best way for me to get her to walk on the leash? Also she is potty trained for the most part but still pees on the floor from time to time, why?
Unfortunately Zero has had a rough past, including being used as a bait dog and being attacked by strays. Due to this, she has a hard time around other strange dogs. She does well with our puppy, but taking her for walks is nearly impossible. She starts out acting enthusiastic, but play can quickly turn into a fight. Is there any way I can train her out of this, or should I find ways to give her proper exercise at home?
I am a single Male with no kids that lives alone. I own a "Very Rare" unique 5 month old Female Purebred Boston Terrier owning 4 colors to her being Champagne, White, Brindle, and a small patch of light Seal. Putting it simply, if you were me, and was wanting to purchase online the most breathtaking and head turning Cologne/Perfume scent for a Purebred female Boston Terrier owned by a male with cost as no option, what Cologne or Perfume would you recommend that i couldn't go wrong with ? THANKS
My young dog (somewhere between 1-2 Y/O) loves to swim. However we do not have a pool so the best option is to take him to the local lake. Our leash isn’t long enough to let him get any further than 4 inches deep in the water so we let him off the leash to swim. He saw geese on the other side of the lake and tried to swim across. He got so far that I had to swim 60 yards into the lake and back to bring him back. Any advice to let him swim but stay away from another scary situation like today.
