Love these. Far better than what I used to use. Just be sure you fold over and then Velcro. Keeps feet dry and clean. I’m worried that they’re getting harder and harder to find.

I think this are fantastic and am so frustrated that I can’t get more. They keep our dog’s feet dry, go up higher on the leg, and get so many compliments on our walks. So much better than Paws which I used for years.

We use these boots for paw treatments. Especially good for dogs with allergies to wash and sanitize paws. Have used them both for epsom salt and dilute bleach soaks. Perfect! Makes it easy to remove salt, dirt, and other debris from paws.

I bought these as an alternative to the IV drip bag the vets office gives you for a paw wound. I had to get size XL to fit over her bandaged paw, but it actually worked out well. Much easier to deal with and for her to walk in. The only issue was it would twist around a little bit when we were walking, but I'm sure that had something to do with the sizing. Seems durable and the velcro is good. Perfect for quick in and out bathroom sessions in the backyard.

How do I know what size I need for my dog?

I took my 2 Australian Shepherds who are 50lbs each in and tried them on. They both were a medium size.

Is there any way to reattach the straps if they break off?

I stapled the strap back on the boot making sure the smooth part of the staple was on the inside of the boot to prevent my dog's foot from getting scratched by the staple. If the strap is too short, buy a roll of velcro tape from a discount store, cut the strap to needed length and staple it to the boot.

Will these protect their paw pads from the heat? Like hot sand at a beach?

Yes, however you should watch for signs of hot feet like excess paw lifting or constant movement. If you are still unsure, you can place the shoe on your fingers and then test out the surface, beforehand. Also, these shoes are not very secure around the leg and sand could possibly get into the shoe.
