Is a Martingale collar safe for walking a 12 year old Yorkie with a sensitive trachea?
We adore our rescue dog and I love to take him on walks but although he’s great with people, he’s very unpredictable with other dogs and he’s extremely prey driven. So much that my 13 year old can’t cntril him if he sees a cat or bunny or something. What do you recommend as far as a harness or collar that will help control his pulling and lunging so that we can enjoy our walks with him more? He’s about 60 lbs, by the way.

Hi I have a lab/ pyrenees mix Maggie who is 9 months old she is getting more aggressive towards people and dogs she doesn’t know the more she gets older. I bought her a muzzle and a shock collar to help but hasnt done anything. Do you have any advise or know if something might be wrong with her. My dog went to her first obedience class today. She is a 7 lb Malitpoo. The instructor has us use a choker collar for the first several sessions. She did really well and only had a couple of good pulls against my husband during the training session. I went to bathe her and noticed that the schlera on her right eye is red like a blood vessel has broken in it. She never goes outside without us and is always on a leash. I'm wondering if using that collar may have caused it,, what to do?
