Collar training My 14 week papillon is tiny just over 2lbs. The smallest harness does not fit. I began collar and leash during potty pad time, then keeping on and off for periods yesterday. Of course she bites and plays with the leash, causing it to be more of a potty training distraction than tool. The collar, right sized no dangles made of nylon, seems to irritate her skin. She itches it constantly. Is this hurting her skin or part of getting used to the collar?
Aquiline is an inside cat although we try to have supervise outdoor leashtime we have found that his mesh harness what does what we were originally recommended stretches too much and he can rather easily slip out of it and get free he did this yesterday on our way back from the pet store to get him new toys. I dont think this is serious but, my cat oreo ( 1 years old, Male), won't wear his collar. But the more serious thing I have noticed before the collar is, he hasn't been eating much, not really his wet food either. We have tried to give him his favorites, but he will hardly eat. Its a concern because he is growing. But I dont know if it has to do with him being anxious from me being gone for a couple of hours.
