Hello buddy is a yellow lab and he loves to chew on Rawhide. I can't seem to find the huge rawhides he likes that I buy at Christmas time. Can you recommend any treats that he can chew on for long periods of time? I see that dr. Foster and Smith sell a rawhide bone but it's almost $30 for three of them and then not nearly the size of the large ones he gets through in a few days if that.
Should I be concerned that my adult dog has started growing a patch of solid black curly fur over his shoulder blades? Hx: Came to us a year ago as a young adult dog, body type and coat appear to be nearly full blooded red Pomeranian, 10 lbs, no health problems, no use of topical meds, his last bath was 2 months ago, no changes to diet or lifestyle. I just bought my dog a fleece vest to wear in the winter because she shivers, and it seems to help calm her as well. Would it be ok to leave it on at night? It's not restrictive and she doesn't chew at it or try to take it off. She sleeps in a big wire crate next to my bed with her brother.
my 17 yr. old 5 # Pomeranian (neutered male) has to wear a male wrap, due to frequent wetting in the house... but can wriggle out of it...I found the Vet's Best Perfect Fit ...which sounds like it would work well, but I need a liner that is really absorbent to put in it... What would you suggest? (that's affordable)?
