I filled the little pockets with both big & small cookies, and all of my pups went crazy over this toy! I was worried that they would tear it apart to get the treats out, but they didn't, they managed to turn the pockets inside-out to eat them without causing any damage. My dogs range in age from a 17- year old Miniature Poodle to a 3-year old half Pit/half Schnauzer, and they & 8 of the others all loved it. I thought the "spot clean only" washing instructions were pretty ridiculous for a fabric toy that was made to be full of slobber & wet pet treat crumbs, so I tossed it in my washer & washed it in cold water on the delicate cycle & hung it to dry & it came out nice & clean & undamaged (picture shows it after washing).

A fun toy with rewarding sounds for dog, but no loud squeakers! We don’t always avoid squeakers but when you want a slightly less loud toy something like this was great. It had plastic liners between the pages for the shaking and head thrashing excitement!

I received this product for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. I was excited to get this snuffle plush dog toy. Finnegan is food motivated, curious and enjoys a challenge and enrichment. The toy has cute graphics and pretty vibrant colors. There is a crinkle sound that would appear to the audio stimuli. That is about the only pros. The actual pages only have three deep slots to hide treats. The gaps are so deep, the treats become difficult to access. My curious boy was bored instantly. He pushed it across the floor for three minutes and walked away, never to revisit it. In my opinion, there wasn't much activity to gain from this. Three odd gaps isn't enough stimulus.

I am a big fan of the crunchy dog toys. The noise is a little less harsh than squeakers which I appreciate! So far it seems durable against my toy sized chewers. I thought there would be pockets to hide treats in but that may have been my error in reading the description.
