My 9-lb. half-chihuahua, the Boss, needs a new harness. Her old one is great but is getting a bit gross and I’ve never really thought the color suits her personality. It can be tricky finding a harness that does all the things I want, especially for tiny dogs, where harnesses are often flimsy (because it’s not like they can pull that hard) and the sturdy ones with the best features often just don’t come in small enough sizes. Over the years I’ve tried out quite a few. The Boss is a puller and she can be quite insistent about it. What I really like for my dogs are harnesses that have front and back D-ring connectors and spread out any pressure points. A concern that’s specific to the Boss is her proportions; the edge of the chest piece of many harnesses tends to hit right at her throat, which worries me. With those concerns in mind, there are things I like and dislike about this harness. The first and most obvious thing is I like the look. The Boss has always had a bit of a reserved, elegant personality and I think lilac or lavender suits her. I also like the sturdy neoprene fabric that makes up the chest and back pieces of the harness—and the labels inside to make sure you know which is which. The side snaps are great. I have a harness for my 6-lb. half-chihuahua that also snaps on the side and I know both girls appreciate not having anything going over their heads when putting their harnesses on. Unfortunately, however, I don’t think this harness will be the one to replace the Boss’s old faithful. This harness lacks one of my favorite features of the Boss’s current harness, which is a back handle, but the main dealbreaker is a familiar problem. While the belly and neck straps are easy to adjust, the top edge of the chest piece hits the Boss right at her throat. I wouldn’t expect this to be a problem for the majority of dogs. The Boss has unique proportions and sizing things to fit her can always be a little awkward. On the whole, I like the harness—just not for us.

The colors really pop on this harness! It also seems to be made of quality material so hopefully it will withstand everything my energetic pup puts it through haha. By far the best part is that it has both a chest buckle and a neck buckle eliminating the need to put the harness over your pup’s head. This is very important for head-shy dogs or dogs who aren’t yet used to putting a harness on/off. The only downside is it runs a bit on the small side. The largest size is kinda snug on my large breed dog.

I love harnesses for my dogs, I would never use a leash on a collar they just aren’t physically safe in my opinion. This harness is so cute the blue matches my pomskys eyes so well, not to mention it fits very nicely which is a must!!

This harness is very well made. It was extremely easy to put on my pup. I like that it is very adjustable and stretchy. It stays in place and doesnt ride up with leash attached. I love the bright colors and the material.

Once i figured out how to put the harness on it fit nicely. The buckles seem well made, as well as the D ring connection on chest and back. Reminder this will help your dog walk nicely but will not totally correct the problems unless you work with your pet. All in all very well made, fun colors and a good start to fun walks

Looks great. Easy to put on and has front and back hook so you can click the leash depending on their walking style. It has 2 clips which makes it quick to put on. Love the bright color for night time

Z loves this beautiful harness. It fits her comfortably and she gets excited when she sees it, meaning it’s time to go for a walk or car ride. The harness offers no pull technology. The color is lavender.

Love love love this harness. It is padded and soft, easy to put on and easy to adjust. The colors are beautiful pastel and exactly as pictured. The only problem is that you have have to size up. I ordered a large for my 55 pound Weimaraner (deep-chested breed, so that could be part of it) and could not make it fit. The XL would have been perfect. Bummed about the sizing, but the harness is recommended.
