The 2XL fits my GSD great & is perfect for rainy weather. The hood is clear & my dog isn’t uncomfortable wearing this rain coat. I tried it on my dog in store & it fit amazing. I am very happy with my purchase & my GSD is happy too.

I received this rain coat and ordered a size XXL (largest size available) for my 100lb Rottweiler puppy. The material is definitely water proof and lightweight, which are great. The pattern has little clouds with different designs which look nice and pop on the navy background; there is a little hood and I appreciate the intention of having part of the hood be transparent which I imagine is to ensure better vision. The zipper is on the top left hand side, which I found unusual. The reason I gave this coat a 4/5 stars is because it was challenging to put on at first. I attempted to put the jacket on feet first, but then there was no way to get the hood on his head. I then realized you needed to go head first. Then I had to put my hands through the holes for the legs and pull my dogs legs through. I would say that even though this is an XXL, it fits my pup a little snug. Pulling his legs through to get the coat on was a little tough and tight, and I needed the aid of another person to help zip the coat together. Also, this coat was not made with dogs with huge heads in mind as the hood barely fit his head (granted he does have a giant head). The length is pretty good, nearly covers his entire body and does not cover the genitals. However, in another month, he will outgrow this coat. We used this on a day with light drizzling. He was in the yard with it for a brief potty break and it kept him mostly dry.

The quality of the raincoat itself is impressive. The material feels durable, waterproof, and well made. Perfect for those wet, chilly days when you still need to get out for a walk. The zipper along the back is a big plus too. It makes getting the coat on and off so much easier, especially with a squimy dog who doesn't have the patience for buttons or velcro. However, I did not like the oversize hood. It looks cute but it constantly slips over my dog's eyes and looks uncomfortable.

Our little girl is from Louisiana and isn't used to crazy Maine weather. This fits her so perfect and keeps her dry and adorable at the same time. The print is adorable and the quality is that of a much more expensive branded coat. It's got zippers and snaps, clear cutouts so she can see and it's sewed well and will last as long as she fits it. I will definitely buy this is another color once she gets a little bigger!

This is the cutest rain jacket! It doesn’t fit my dog, but fits my parents’ yorkie. It looks like it’s made well, I just wish it fit my dog. The cloud design is cute and the clear visor part on the hood is great for their yorkie who doesn’t like hoods.
