I have 3 cats they stay inside and only go out to go to the vet. 1 is a small kitten 2 are 5 yr old adults they have periodically shown interest in going outside but I have had no real issues with any of them trying to escape. The kitten I got from the APL was microchipped when I got her the other 2 are not. ( very expensive) I'm wondering if I should get them collars? 1 cat I know won't want it the kitten is so small even for her age vet said she was tiny I worry would collars be unsafe?
How do I get my kitten to get used to her new bell collar? She keeps trying to catch it.
I have put a collar on my cat and he has been going crazy all day.
Hi! Freya has been scratching at her neck, we removed her collar and her skin is irritated and fur is missing. Her collar wasn't too tight (We could for 2 fingers between her and it) and she's been wearing it about a year. She does have seasonal allergies but most years does not need medication for it. We are keeping the collar off unless we go for a walk, but is there anything we can do to help the skin heal? Thank you!
Loved the idea of 8- month flea collar for adult kittiy but one got it caught on his lower jaw & we had to cut it free. Are there other options for flea and tick prevention that last longer than 1 month? Thank you. Denise
I had my cat spayed Saturday i noticed she has licked her incision a little bit i bought a collar but she fought till shw had it kicked off with her back feet do uhave any suggetions
We want to get Ruffwear front range harness for our pup. Is it good? And would size Medium (27-32in around widest part of ribcage) fir her when shes adult? Thanks!
I've just had my kitten spayed today and she is not happy about her collar at all and I have to constantly watch her so she doesn't take it off which she's done already once and I've had to put it back on, and I'm worrried she'll remove it while I'm sleeping is there anything I can do?
I brought 2 collars for my 2 Chihuahua 's but they will not let them be, they try to get out of them, and even get them caught in their mouths, they ate indoors trained. With pads. So should I make them where a collar...,? And if so what kind so they won't do this.
I recently purchased the Pulvex tick and flea collars for my cats. I prefer the collar over the drops because they immediately run out and brush it off in the sand- not good for white cats especially. However, my cat tends to lick her collar while grooming herself. I cut off any excess collar and made a reasonable tightness but she can still reach it. She doesn't seem to be reacting to the collar is terms of skin irritability. Does "pet friendly" mean safe for occasional licks or is it harmful?
Whats the best flea collar money can buy for 10lb dogs
earlier today we had a horrible freak accident with my 2 month old kitten. she was wearing her kitten collar that was fitted for her little neck but she somehow got her bottom jaw stuck on her collar and immediately freaked out meowing in terror and scream cries. thank god i was with her. we got it off thankfully and she's 100% ok but there was blood. turned out it was my blood bc her fang sliced my finger. Anyways, is this a common occurrence in pets and should i ever put a collar back on her?
