This truly is a heavy duty leash and I love it! Feels great on your hands, I only wish it also came in 6ft length.

I bought this leash for my German Shepard/Husky mix because he is a strong pup. Initially, it was a great leash because before he went to training school, he was quite the puller. However, unfortunately in our experience, the clip spontaneously opened and our sweet boy was hit by a car. Perhaps it is just something wrong with the one particular leash we bought like a faulty spring. However, it's something to just be aware of. It doesn't always do it and because of the random nature with which it did, I would advise considering a different leash, maybe even something with a carabiner clip to make sure your pup stays secured to the leash.

This is a great leash. It is nice and heavy. The weight of this leash actually assists in keeping our dog near to us; she can feel it on her back and even when there isn’t tension in the leash it helps her feel secure. The leash itself feels nice in the hand and is a good length to ensure puppy stays nearby and out of danger. The reflective threads also help us stay safe at dusk or night.

This leash is very sturdy and thick. Love it because my dog pulls and this is very very sturdy, I know it won’t break or rip if he pulls. It feels like it’ll last a long time too which is important! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a leash that will last a long time and is very durable.

This leash is very strong and durable we have a Rockweiler mix that loves to pull and run this is the perfect leash and also gave enough length for him to play and do his business also very reflective

I really liked this leash, but not as much as my husband! First of all, the length of this leash is perfect for my dog; it gives him just enough distance for sniffing but not enough that he can get enough momentum to jerk and move me even when he sees a squirrel. Also, when he does see something interesting the leash has a little bit of stretch to it that reduces the pull on my arm. The thickness is great for my 90+ pound pup. The only thing that is a negative for me is the thickness of the handle. have relatively small hands. However, the size is perfect for my husband.

This leash is HEFTY. Way more bulky than I typically prefer, even for my German Shepherds. With that being said, this leash is extremely durable and well made. I could definitely see the bull I was being more useful for XL breeds. This leash is very comfortable to hold in the hand the small D ring near the handle is perfect to attach a poop back holder! The length is also perfect for loose leash walking, in my opinion. Overall a great leash! Just bulkier than what I need or typically prefer!

Such a heavy duty leash - you definitely don't need it for a small dog(the rope would make an excellent horse lead)! The reflective works as it should when lights hit it at night. If you need a short heavy duty lead, don't look any further!
