PULLING: Off-leash, she walks alongside me. Outside, she wears a comfortable harness(pictured). •I stop and use sit command. If I verbally praise her, she jumps right back up and back to pulling. She doesn’t do treats. If I don’t praise her, she’ll stay until I begin to walk again and she’s back to pulling (repeating steps during entire walk). •Gentle leader. What size crate should I purchase for an adult German Shepherd I am planning to adopt?
My dog Zeus has recently developed a fear over getting his claws clipped, I have tried restraining and also letting him come to me on his own but he is just to afraid. I have contacted the local veterinarian hospital and they want to charge over $200. I have some training in veterinary assistance and am fully capable of trimming his nails myself. Is there an at home medication I can give him to do this myself? He is about 85 pounds. I also already have trazadone if that is a suggestion.
Do you think I should let the dog stay inside today? Because it roamed freely in my big backyard with a bunch of bushes, we just add fences so that it can't run away. It is usually tied and have ran away 2 times for no reason, but own this dog for only a week so it's not used to us yet. So is it ok if it's can stay outside or should it go inside?
Is there a special food or supplement I could give Copper for anxiety? I cant even let her out on her leash without her barking at people, or take her anywhere cause she runs. I have tried walking her to wear her out, but she just barks at everyone and runs. It's not a fun time for me or her.
Hey, so I just adopted a beagle from a shelter. I don't know much about her or how her life have been before, just that she was linked to a chain the majority of the time. Have a spunky new rescue chihuahua mix and she is skittish. So much so she will resist any efforts to trim her nails. We have 4 dogs so I have trimmed nails hundreds of times--but with Ricki Ricardo, no luck. I sit on the floor and flip them over and cradle them between my legs. My wife distracts them with peanut butter on a spoon. Besides going to a groomer or vet, any ideas? I thought maybe a groomer table might help. Are there premium nail cutters of higher quality than store bought?

We have a power chewer ! Since we adopted our Rhodesian mix at 4 mos , we have learned what chews are unsafe, and to supervise him . He does best with benebones, antlers, selects kings if they are solid . He slowly eats them, spits out kong pieces . We are used to hearing him contently chewing . We praise him. . He is very healthy and happy . The problem: I was hearing him chewing and it sounded different . He was eating my husbands leather shoe! He is challenging commands he knows as well! ??
My dog has a big skin tag that keeps getting bigger. Is there anything I can do at home to get rid of it or should I go to a vet and have them take it off? They told me it would cost more money to put him to sleep then the procedure. i can not get my pics to upload
