Questions
Are these 1/2" sand perch covers 12" long?
- They are 7.5 inches long, for my bird cage they cover 1/2 of the perch stick.

Are these appropriate for canaries. Only have had parakeets in the past and the sand might be Too course for canary feet.
- Hi PAVAROTTI, Yes, it should be safe for canaries. The main thing to remember with sand perch covers is that these covers cannot be placed on every perch in the habitat because birds need to be able to stand on surfaces that are not abrasive as well to prevent agitation and injury to their feet.
