please do NOT buy this for your bird! the sandpaper on the perch files your birds nails but it files down the bottom of their feet as well. this can lead to sores and bleeding from their feet, the most important part of a bird's body! please please PLEASE dont buy this, it's a waste of money and will only harm your bird. opt for a natural wood perch instead (not smooth dowels, those are too smooth and do not exercise your bird's feet correctly). please do your research before buying a pet bird and know that they are not as easy as a pet that can sit in a cage all day. it needs toys, baths, flight time, a balanced diet, and social interaction daily!!!
