Can I take a shower with a Amazon Parrot? What temperature range water is safe? Do I need to give them a cuttle cone? What to chew one? How often do I have to take them for beak/wing/nail trim? I am going to visit family for a week and I have to take my bird with me. I saw online that it helps to get him used to the cage for awhile before trying to travel with him. I didn't know I should do that until now. It's only an hour away but I want him to be safe. Should I try to get him in a travel cage (which will be a challenge bc I don't think he would trust me enough to pick him up other than by perching) or use his regular cage? Any other ideas? I know to not have loose toys in the cage.
