Bunny loves it!
My bunny loves to chew on these. I use them out of the cage to prevent him chewing on things he shouldn't chew (I give him alternatives to chew on). I also leave some in his cage and he destroys them on his own.

Is this safe for small dogs?
- In my opinion no. In my pack we have 2 small dogs and I think not only would these splinter, they are small enough enough even a little dog could choke on them. They are definitely designed for small animals like guinea pigs and rabbits.

What is the center of the pencil made of? Is it just dyed wood (instead of graphite of course)

Would these be fine for a dwarf hamster?
- I purchased these for our dwarf hamsters and they seem like they would be appropriate size however our hammies never touched them. We’ve had them in the cages of 8 different hamsters and they’ve never chewed on them. Could just be our picky hammies...they prefer toilet paper tubes to anything I’ve bought for them.

- yes, it just might not last as long as a bigger toy for rabbits because they are small, but they are perfectly safe for any kind of small pet :)
