I really love the whole aesthetic of the moon phases and am in love with toys that are not just your same several kind in different shapes. Trying something new is always great! However as much as I love the design, my two birds found it a little boring. They ignored it unless I pick it up and bring it to them to inspect, and that in itself earned a meager nibble before going back to ignoring it. Maybe if it has a bell or some beads mixed in it might garner more attention from the conure or cockatiel but alas, they kinda snub it. I do like the colors and the rope they're tied to and the size it perfect for in or outside the cage. Just needs something else to catch the short attention span of my bird-brains.

I think this toy is very cute and looks nice in my birds cage. The wooden pieces seem durable and like they will hold up to chewing/shredding. The string holding the pieces together does not seem super durable, so if your bird likes to shred string this toy may not last very long. The only issue is the toy is not very exciting or enriching, there is not much they can do with it other than chew or shred the wooden blocks. Overall, I think it’s very cute, but there are more exciting toy options.

The You & Me Moon Phases Toy is a very simple bird toy. The bird toy is a medium and said to be for cockatiels and conures. My Senegal destroyed this toy within a day. I think this bird toy is more suitable for parakeets because it is destroyed easily by hookbills.

I have a parrot that is very picky about her toys. For toys she doesn't like, she will freak out and flap around and then cut it off right at the top so it falls out of her cage. But she loved this one. She preened around it and then chomped down from the bottom up and enjoyed every part of it. This was a great toy for her.

This is a super cute and substantial bird toy. I actually have it for my rabbit because it is a similar material for her toys. It’s so cute we are just using it for decor for now. Good size too, she’s a large rabbit so you can see compared to her in the pic. She likes it!

I received this product for free in e from spotted By PETCO in exchange for my honest review. This toy is cute and well made. I gave it to a friend whose bird loves to chew wood. It took him some time, but eventually he warmed up to it. Slowly but surely he is beginning to do his thing.
