My Amazon Bandit needs a larger cage. I am hesitant to purchase a new cage as the one he has is too small. Descriptions do not indicate the spacing of the bats. Additionally there are no toys in cages to help identify which cage is best. I inherited Bandit and he throws pellets out of feed dish and doesn't seem to care for food that came with him. We have a power chewer ! Since we adopted our Rhodesian mix at 4 mos , we have learned what chews are unsafe, and to supervise him . He does best with benebones, antlers, selects kings if they are solid . He slowly eats them, spits out kong pieces . We are used to hearing him contently chewing . We praise him. . He is very healthy and happy . The problem: I was hearing him chewing and it sounded different . He was eating my husbands leather shoe! He is challenging commands he knows as well! ??
Hello, my dog is a 2 year old German Shepherd, Boxer, Rottweiler, Chow Chow mix, (that's a mouthful!) and he destroys every toy we give him! He has never chewed on furniture, (even as a puppy) or clothes or shoes. But we've purchased every toy under the sun and he still rips them to shreds! We've gotten indestructible toys like, fire hose toys, Kong toys, etc. We gave him a thigh bone from a cow and he broke it with one chomp. Is there something better? Or do we just replace toys?
