Perfect for dwarf hamsters & mice

Got it for my rescue capbell's dwarf Cannoli, as she climbs a lot. Added to her 950 sq in detolf it's small but gives me more space for bedding and it fits her (43g) well. I definitely wouldn't give this to my other rescues (143g male syrian, 119g female syrian, and 84g 5-year-old male gerbil) but I did buy another for my old rescue male mouse and it fits him very well, even at 42g. I recommend this for chinese, robo, or dwarf hamsters who like to climb, mice, asfr's, very small rat kits, sugar gliders, or syrian hamsters. Not for use with adult rats, syrian hamsters, and degus, etc.

Not for gerbils. They chew it up, it makes a crinkle noise because theres plastic inside of it and i hooe they didnt eat it but now theres pieces of plastic in there bedding :( it was gone in 2 days

Let me first say that my hamster LOVES this, it's good for her, who is a dwarf hamster, mice (I debated getting this for my mouse but he has enough stuff) or maybe gerbils. Not for Syrians, rats or guinea pigs! (I have never had Syrians but I know that they're pretty large.) Now, I'll say why I only gave three stars. My hammy Peaches dragged some bedding in here and peed EVERYWHERE! Had to clean it with a hose, it was so dirty. Now it's back in her cage and she's dragging bedding in there again...}:(

Can my hamster eat the inside

How could I suspend it from a 18" tall bin cage? I want my hamster to be able to reach it. I'm moving some of her stuff into her bin so she'll have more room in her cage.
- Hi Hamsterpawz7, This is recommended for use in a wire cage. When hanging from the wire cage top, the length of this is only 11.8”, so this may not hang low enough in a 18” height without raising the base with something like a ramp or platform. Thanks,

- No, my Syrian Hamster fit bit only barely. A guinea pig would be too big.

Does this count as a hamster hideaway?
- It's nice and sheltering and has the makings of a hideaway, but I'd get a real plastic hide just in case. Plus, skyar is right, it's really hard to clean especially when your hamster turns it into a litterbox like mine did. I recommend using a hose and leaving it to air dry on a clothespin:)
