Questions
I see there's a slight tilt to the wheel. Because of this, will it fit in a 10inch cage?
- Hi. My saucer is 12” in diameter, and the highest part, which would be towards the top of the cage is 7 3/4.” I hope this helps.

Can this be used for rats?
- YES! Buy this for ratties! Mine love it! Also, the 6" one is great for mice. It's much better than those wire-bottomed wheels which cause bumblefoot. I have a hairless rat, a regular fancy rat, and a brown mouse (in a separate cage) and it was a smash hit all around. I can't see how apparently my rats were the only ones that like it. Take a peek at my review (Hamsterpawz9) to see what it would be like for your rats (mice, and hamsters).

How big of a cage will I want for my Syrian hamster if I also want to put other things in it?
- You'll want a very large cage. I have this saucer in my Syrian's secondary 40g breeder tank, and it takes up 1/4 of the floorspace (about one square foot). Saucer wheels should only be used as supplemental toys in addition to an upright wheel, so you'll need a tank bigger than a 40g breeder to fit both, in my opinion. :)

Can a 5-7 in hamster fit??
- This saucer is for a Syrian Hamster (Teddy bear hamster). My hamster is large, not the dwarfs. So I believe yours will fit.

- It will fit, but there won't be a lot of room for anything else.
