I bought these for our Guinea pigs. One of them loves to chew on them & the other throws the block around.

These are just simple wooden blocks, and I expected my rabbits would largely ignore them. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they not only liked chewing on them, but would also play with them by picking them up and throwing them around.

I have been buying these blocks for my African Grey and Amazon for years. They cost 3.49 for the small size, count of 18 and 4.49 for the large, count of 18. The pics are the same but when my recent order came they are a different brand. The ones being sent now has a count of only 12 large and the price was $4.99!! The online brand showing is still “you and Me” but what they sent was “Super Bird Creations”.. so the per block cost for the 1 1/4 “ square now is $.42 vs the previous cos of $ .25. BIG DIFFERENCE. Cute chew toy for your small furry friend, but our gerbil wasn't very interested as the blocks are on pretty small and kept scooting away from her when she tried chewing on them. Putting them inside of a cardboard box seem to be a fun way to make them useful!

Finally! I’ve been trying in futile to find chewing products for my piggies teeth and my daughter has been begging to get her toys… everything I’ve tried so far hasn’t even been so much as acknowledged! Until now! I figured for the price, it was worth a shot…I put these tiny blocks in her cage and caught her shortly after chewing on them and then throwing them up in the air! So my daughter and I are both happy!

These are the best chew blocks for small animals. They are hardwood, not cheap pine like most blocks. We like to use the Ware brand raffia chew rings to string through these.
