Good value and quality, but not as pictured.

I was expecting a more bark-y perch like the one pictured, but the one I got is a dark brown and smoother. It should still be okay for your bird's feet, but keep in mind that it is different than shown. The size is accurate and the hardware is sturdy. There does seem to be a little bit of a coating, which I'm not thrilled about (some parts have shiny globs), but for the size and quality, I still recommend this perch. I had some extra perch hardware and was even able to cut it in half, drill a hole, and create two perches out of this.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Only rating three stars because my one-star review does not show up. I bought two of these perches and both of them had sap coming out of them, which is toxic to birds.

No, I do not recommend this product.

At first I thought that I should return this product as it was too expensive. Sunny, my lovebird didn't like it at first. After a couple of days, she sits on it all the time.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Very high quality, I really like the texture, I know my Conure will love them (I purchased 4). I was very pleasantly surprised by the 9.5" length.

The perches are made of fir (great) but only 2 of the 4 perches were 3/4 inch. The other 2 were 1/2 inch. Not as advertised.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Hi, Can you rinse this perch because my parakeet always poops on his perches?

  1. Definitely! Just make sure it fully dries before putting back in your bird’s cage. I have the same issues with my ‘tiel lol.

What size do you need for an African Gray

  1. I never owned an African Gray but a guess would be at least 1" or more.

What size bird are these for and what is the diameter

  1. 3/4 inch Conures,Cockatiel, basically anything smaller than an African Grey.

Does anyone else smell anything on the wood? Will this be safe for my Cockatiel?

  1. Hi there. I don’t remember smelling anything. My parakeets don’t really pick on it, so you may be safe if your cockatiel doesn’t.

at is the average legnth

  1. Hi kmaria52, The average is 10 inches. Thanks,
