Is this ok for 2 budgies?
- In my professional opinion NO unless u give them LOTS of out of cage time IF they’re tame and wings are clipped, using this size cage as more like a kennel for when you’re at work and night time. Keets are VERY active and playful. They LOVE toys and there’s not much room here for but a couple. Plus when they stretch their wings they will probably be smacking each other or the cage wire causing squabbles or broken feathers that could bleed. I would suggest buying a Cockatiel size, flat top cage. U can find them with with 1/2 inch spacing. My credentials for answering your question comes from 18 yrs working part time in pet stores in the bird and small animal rooms, owning my own Parakeets, plus I bred Cockatiels for abt 21 yrs

Mostly 5 stars, with lowest rating be 3 stars. Is non-toxic hammertone safe?

My Canary, Ringo, has a Cage that has a peaked roof, like a house. I have a chance to get a Flat-topped roof, larger cage. Which type of cage do Canaries like? I prefer the house-style cage, as it is more attractive. But, I realize Canaries don't know about their cage being attractive. Ringo would be able to fly more in the larger cage. Is the Peaked Roof just a Personal, Human Preference? And, Not the Canaries?

So I just bought my first bird. But I have no idea what to do next. I did buy good bird food without sunflower seeds, millets, culet bone cage, and nutriberries. He's not tamed either so I'm not sure what to do. He doesn't have toys yet and I'm planing to get a bigger cage soon as I want to include another bird in a few months.
