Decent Travel Cage
So ordered this tiny cage as a travel cage to the vet or car ride for my whitehead cockatiel. The door was smaller than expected (opens about 3.5 inches) but the top pops off so can do that to let him in and out.
I wouldn't let any bird live in this full time (even budgies) because it is just so small but it will work if he gets sick or if we ever have to evacuate due to weather (tornados common by me). I took out the flimsy dow rods because they can cause harm to a bird's feet and the swing broke pretty easily so i just put in my own toys and small wood perches for him (he wouldn't have fit on swing anyway).
Other than wishing the door opened wider, this cage is more or less what i was expecting. It arrived on time and was easy to assemble. The metal is a little flimsy (probably aluminium) but very light weight and easy to carry. All in all a good product but to be fair, I have only owned it for a about an hour now. I will update if any issues pop up.
Yes, I recommend this product.

What are the exact measurements?
Hey, would this work for a cockatiel? Also, how big is it?
- My cockatiel (whitehead 11 wk old baby) takes up about 25% of the space when placed inside. I posted a review with an arial photo that should pop up this week. This cage will work as a travel cage but definitely not longer term for anything bigger than a finch (and even then). Mine does not fit through the doorway (about a 3.5 in tall hole) but he can be brought in and out through the removable ceiling.
