The Yellow Finned Sucker Loach is a bottom dwelling fish. The Loach's body shape allows it to point itself toward strong flow and stay attached to rocks. Yellow Finned Sucker Loaches need very well-oxygenated water. The easiest way to keep oxygen levels high in an aquarium is to maintain high overturn and keep the temperature low. A 20-gallon aquarium is sufficient to house a small group of three to five, which is recommended. Substrate should be rounded pebbles, like those you would find in a river bottom, as well as larger rounded stones or boulders. Driftwood can be used, but it should be old so it doesn't stain the water. Their primary food source in the wild is benthic algae as well as the little critters consumed with it. A goal should be to maintain an environment that grows this algae readily. The Yellow Finned Sucker Loach is a peaceful fish and can be kept with other community minded fishes that enjoy the same habitat as Rasboras and Danios.

ACCLIMATION: Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. For new aquariums, adding new fish slowly helps to properly develop the nitrogen cycle, which creates a safe environment for your aquatic pets. A bacteria booster may also help develop a new aquarium for your new fish. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried, and frozen food, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller, unfiltered aquariums.

My golden dojo loach (fish) accidentally swallowed one of my smaller fish, he is choking and I don’t know what to do there is no fish vet near me please help what do I do
what kind of fish are these? and would they be good with a male betta
Recently one of my Dojo Loaches have developed a weird issue with its eyes. I have 3 others who are doing completely fine. My water parameters are based around what they need and the temp too. I did a water change as well to see if that would help but havent seen any progress and I believe it is getting worse. I'm going to quarantine it for now. What could be this be? I'm struggleing to find a specific answer for this. I attached pictures of the sick loach and one of my healthy ones.

Hi, I bought 6 platy fish and a black corydora catfish about 2 weeks ago, all seem in good health bright colours and swimming round as normal they are in a 48l tank which the pet store said was a big enough tank for them all, but one of them seems to be loosing his scales or I’m afraid he may have itch but it dosent look like it I hope you can help, thanks.
My koi are loosing scales and one of my goldfish has white bumps on it's head. What could it be?
I dont know if you are a tropical fish specialist. But there is something going on in my tank and need help diagnosing it. My corydora has two raised growths ..one at the base of its fin. And one under the eye. My pleco seems a bit tattered too. A little flashing was happening with my yoyo loach also. That's now stopped after a water change.
several of my pond goldfish have developed these growths. They are not in distress and feeding and behaving normally. I wondered if you had any idea what they could be. Vic, Clacton
my betta fish died she was found floating with fins ripped and her body white but a huge red spot in the middle could it have been my pleco? and i have some fish in there like 2 platies and 2 mollies and 1 female guppy and this is in a 20 gallon long fish tank
My goldfish has blood in his find. I searched what it could be and found a website that took me it was ammonia poisoning or something and I just needed to clean his tank. He's 8-9 years old and I got him from Mejier. I came home from school today to find him floating on his side. He let's me reach in and grab him and I noticed that his entire back side from his anal fin to tail was losing scales. He is in a 20 gallon tank with another goldfish, 2 plecos, and an albino shark. He has a filter+air
