Aquacultured Wyoming White Clowns are a variant of the common Ocellaris Clown, which has dark orange fins that turn black over time. They will very likely choose a host anemone fairly quickly (just avoid condylactis). In one of the neatest displays of symbiotic behavior that you can see in a home aquarium, the clownfish provides food and a cleaning service for the anemone, which in turn protects the clownfish. This clown is reef safe, will eat processed foods and can be added in small groups. Clownfish are known to change their sex to increase their chance of reproduction and genetic diversity in the wild. If the female dies, a male will change their sex to take her place. The Wyoming White Clowns have orange faces that are outlined by black. Their bodies are predomonantly white in color and many have a black spot near their gill cover. The Frost Bite Clown will grow to be about 4" in size.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.
