1.Remove collar from box and bag inside. Remove and discard the inner nylon strip by pulling on the round tab on the inner side of the collar. 2.Fasten the collar around pets neck. Be sure two fingers fit between the collar and neck. 3.Trim excess length of collar beyond the buckle, leaving a couple inches to hold onto when you're ready to remove the collar. 4.Replace collar every 4 months or as needed. 5.Flea & Tick Collar is water resistant, not waterproof. Remove before bathtime or swims.
Read entire label prior to use and use as directed. Dogs ages 4+ months.

Hello, I am wondering what type or brand of flea collar you would recommend for dogs? Additionally, would you suggest flea collars with natural based ingredients, such as resin power and citronella or collars what utilize active chemical ingredients such as imidacloprid and flumethrin? i recently adopted a 6 week old puppy but it turns out she has fleas. i bought an "EasyDefense flea and tick collar for dogs, Only Natural Pet". is it safe for her since she is 6 weeks old and it is "natual". its active ingredients are Geraniol, peppemint oil, thyme oil. Inert ingredients are Nylon,Almond oil, 1,2-Propylene Carbonate.

I previously used the Virbac Preventic dollar for tick protection on my dog since I live in a warm climate where ticks are a problem year-round. Unfortunately this collar has been unavailable (back order from manufacturer) for months so I need to find alternatives. What other collars provide safe, effective tick protection for dogs without serious side effects? My dog is already on monthly Trifexis for flea/heartworm so it needs to be something that is compatible/safe with this.
Hi. I will be going to Woodstock NY with my family, which includes my 20 pound 5 year old cockapoo, Winston. we have been using Frontline plus every month (in between the scapulae). I am concerned about Ticks since we will probably be doing a fair amount of hiking, I have read that Frontline Plus in addition to the Prevetic collar is ok, but Frontline plus in addition to the Seresto collar "you should ask a veterinarian” Do you feel the combo is ok, and that it might give better protection?
