My dog's coat is healthier and he loves the taste more than just fish oil with mackeral or cod. I also think it is helping his joints.This also has all the primary ingredients my vet wants him to take.

I never do reviews, but this plus salmon dog food (purina pro plan) got my Frenchie of Apoquel! Also, her shedding was reduced by about 80%. Really good stuff.

It made both of my dogs have diarrhea, like literal soup poops. Stopped using the product for a couple of days, (just to make sure it wasn’t anything else) added it again to their diet, and immediate soup poops. Will not buy again.

Worked this into my dog's diet while also working to remove allergens after reading that omega-3 can improve outcomes for dogs with skin problems (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15206474/)! Can't say for sure if the removal of the allergens or the fish oil did the trick, but as soon as we started doing both his skin started to improve! Less itching, and hair is growing back to the edges of his ears. All of his fur is softer now. Very pleased and will continue to buy this product.

I bought this because my vet said it would be good for my dog's failing joints. This bottle is all you need, as it tells you how many pumps per dog's weight to put on their food. No other measuring or messy instruments to clean. Plus, my dog loves it so much that she thinks it's a treat.

My dogs are in the 25-50 lbs range. Is it 2 pumps per day total or 2 pumps per feeding (I feed twice a day)? My Corgi is on a "diet"; is this too high calorie to include on his food? He needs to lose a couple pounds do to osteoarthritis in his hips.

Too much can cause him to gain its high fats. They are healthy fats but still fats. So if your losing weight might be harder.

I agree with the person who said “ they are not good at this” and asked for universal measurements. Pump strokes is not a standard measurement. Depends on how much comes out. Answer below-Is 1tsp accurate for a 15lb dog accurate?

The label also says how much a “pump” is by volume. If you need it to be exact, use the measurement provided. For example if it’s 1 pump=1 teaspoon and the amount for your dogs weight is 1 pump...give it 1 teaspoon. Easy peasy

If my dog loves little bits of salmon in her dry food and the oils from the salmon skin, do you think this will make her sick? I don’t want to cause any sort of sickness. But she loves salmon and we can stop using cheese to entice her to eat!

Adding anything new to a dogs diet should be done gradually Incase of stomach upset. Fish oil, however should not cause issues if introduced properly. I put it on my dogs breakfast every morning for her joints.
