Unreasonable price increase

Azoo

The product is good, but I’m canceling repeat delivery due to Petco raising the price by 33% without any notice. It’s not only the increase in cost, but the lack of notice/care for customers. Do better.

Yes, I recommend this product.

cross your fingers when you order this online

maybe its better to pick this up from the store. i ordered this and it arrived quickly - but the stem of the pump bottle was broken off (and in the box) when i opened things. i'm going to try and salvage this since I have a bottle with the same sized pump. hope it works, otherwise i'll have to figure out the refund process. can't imagine how bad this would be if the bottle actually broke in shipping. other than that ... this stuff is great for our cats, it keeps their coats manageable. just remember to pick it up in store maybe.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Leaked during delivery

It’s cheaper online than in store, but I ordered two bottles and one came with the lid loose. It leaked all over soaking the packaging. Had to triple wash the container with soap and the house still stunk of fish for a week. UGH. They need to tighten/secure the lid and send it in a box.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My dog's coat is healthier and he loves the taste more than just fish oil with mackeral or cod. I also think it is helping his joints. This also has all the primary ingredients my vet wants him to take.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I never do reviews, but this plus salmon dog food (purina pro plan) got my Frenchie of Apoquel! Also, her shedding was reduced by about 80%. Really good stuff.

All my dogs really seem to like the flavor. They don't realize they're getting the vitamin content and all the oils to help their skinning coat. We'll definitely keep them on it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

1 - 10 of 27 Questions

Is the measurement per day or per meal?

  1. Per meal

Can I give this to kittens?

  1. I wouldn’t. Cats and especially kittens have very sensitive systems when it comes to supplements. Err on the side of caution.

My dogs are in the 25-50 lbs range. Is it 2 pumps per day total or 2 pumps per feeding (I feed twice a day)? My Corgi is on a "diet"; is this too high calorie to include on his food? He needs to lose a couple pounds do to osteoarthritis in his hips.

  1. Too much can cause him to gain its high fats. They are healthy fats but still fats. So if your losing weight might be harder.

Will this help grow hair?

  1. No idea, seems like a question for your vet

I agree with the person who said “ they are not good at this” and asked for universal measurements. Pump strokes is not a standard measurement. Depends on how much comes out.  Answer below-Is 1tsp accurate for a 15lb dog accurate?

  1. The label also says how much a “pump” is by volume. If you need it to be exact, use the measurement provided. For example if it’s 1 pump=1 teaspoon and the amount for your dogs weight is 1 pump...give it 1 teaspoon. Easy peasy

If my dog loves little bits of salmon in her dry food and the oils from the salmon skin, do you think this will make her sick? I don’t want to cause any sort of sickness. But she loves salmon and we can stop using cheese to entice her to eat!

  1. Adding anything new to a dogs diet should be done gradually Incase of stomach upset. Fish oil, however should not cause issues if introduced properly. I put it on my dogs breakfast every morning for her joints.

What color is this oil supposed to be when it comes out?

  1. I just bought same today and it is an orange color

Can I give this to my cat? My vet recommended a fatty acid supplement for her itchy skin issue.

  1. Yes, this is fine for cats.

How many calories are in one pump of the salmon oil?

  1. 8.888kcals ME/kg,40kcalc ME/teaspoon

How long after we open this does it last for? Opened it 3 months ago and still have plenty as we only do half a pump everyday. Just wanted to make sure it doesnt go bad.

  1. Bottle says 90 days.
