To me it looks like a home made stew. Love the ingredients and Oliver loves the food over his dry food.

My dogs love the Wholehearted wet dog food, our only problem is that the local store never has a full stock and we have to look other places for the food.

I have tried more expensive dog food brands and my dogs always turn their noses up at the food, this Wholehearted Lamb flavor really keeps them happy and it is reassuring that Wholehearted uses quality ingredients.

This dog food actually looks like real food. You can recognize the vegetables and the meat is cut in nice small pieces. The only complaint - I’d like it without chicken. Some dented cans.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Is this (Wholehearted Plus Lamb,Vegetables & Brown Rice Recipe Stew with Whole Grains Wet Dog Food) low-sodium? My dog has heart problems and needs to eat a low sodium diet. He can only eat wet food.

  1. Look into how much sodium per the amount of serving he can eat at each feeding. If its within the amount your vet perscribes then follow that ruling. You may also want to look at the fat content of each serving. Ask your vet to write down what amounts your dog is allowed. I am not a doctor so this is just what I would do. Good luck!

What is the phosphorus level in this food please?

  1. I must run upstairs & look as I've never fed my dog based on phosphorus levels? Let me check the label....OK, tiny font hard to read but 98% sure the phosphorus level reads exactly as: (Min.) 0.20% Hope that helps? My dog is 15, has a sensitive stomach, isn't food motivated but she loves this . Good lucj
