I really wanted my dog to like this food, but it's

I really hate to leave bad reviews but I'm going to be leaving an honest one. Every once in awhile I will switch to a different food that is a little less pricey to see if it works with my dog, because we all know dog food can be expensive. I tried my dog on this one, and I did do a gradual introduction over a week, mixing it with his Purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach salmon and rice dog food. This food gave him extreme gas and diarrhea even with a gradual introduction. It looked like he really didn't want to eat it at all and I felt really bad for my dog trying to push him to try to like it. I started a return with Petco and they were very happy to refund me and told me that I can keep the bag of used food which I put on OfferUp and someone picked it up to give to their dog which I'm grateful for that. The Purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach salmon and rice dog food did not give him gas, or diarrhea like this food did. If you're trying to save a couple of bucks, and I totally get it, it's not worth it. If you find a good dog food that agrees with your dog's skin and stomach if you have a sensitive dog, stick with it. I would not try this brand ever again

No, I do not recommend this product.

I have 4 dogs with that being said I needed a quality and affordable dry dog food. Bought the 45lbs bag of this salmon with grains and my dogs love it! How do i know? No food left behind ;) their coat / fur looks bright and healthy .Poop is solid and they are full of energy. I highly reccomend this dry dog food. Just keep in mind every dog reacts differently but worth the try

Yes, I recommend this product.

My dogs will eat anything and they pretty much refused this food. I have never seen food left behind and they both would leave quite a bit.

Just got it today so we will have to see about the bowel issue and if it affects her at all, but she LOVES it. It was a treat to her! That’s what I really care about. I like knowing she ENJOYS eating her food.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I transitioned my 2 dogs over to this food because of the ingredients, the size of the bag, the price and it was recommended by a friend. However, since being on this food one of my boys has had huge horse size poops, some loose, some solid and he goes ALL the time. (He's a medium size dog) I don't necessarily think the food is bad, it just isn't agreeing with his tummy. What works for one pup doesn't always work for another.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this food to see if the Salmon recipe would help with my dog's dander issue. IT DID! She is a pit bull mix breed and she loves it! Her coat is so soft, shiny and dander free!! Have put it on the auto-ship option now for a 45 lb. bag.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Food BUT...

We love this food, but the 30lb bags are never available in stores and shipping times are questionable at best. I know it's not a supply issue, since the other salmon varieties from this brand are always available in the 30lb (or similar) bags. One of my dogs can't eat sweet potatoes, so that kind isn't an option and neither of my dogs have grain allergies, so the grain free options are out. Please start stocking the 30lb bags in your physical locations again please! The next size up isn't always affordable, even tho I recognize it's a better value long term. Unfortunately, we don't live in a world where that always works out for everyone.

Yes, I recommend this product.
