- Yes. Just make sure there isn't any onion or garlic in the ones you buy and feed to your fluffy. I bought them by mistake and my cats lived the chicken and salmon one. It looked like stew and they loved it. They even ate the pieces of carrots. Lol

- yes, that is just what I used it for, my picky eater. the nights she would not eat I put about a teaspoon mixed in her food. She a dachshund so the portion may need to be adjusted.

- Certainly ask vet..that being said it is very watery and easy to eat or mix with food..it is not heavy on pumpkin

I have been filling my dogs Kong with canned pumpkin is this one okay to use?
I want to get this canned food for my dog as a topper to her dry food. It has shredded chicken along with whole white beans, peas and potatoes. Will she be able to digest this ok because the beans, peas and potatoes are not ground into a pate texture? she's on the dry version of this currently. I also ditched the twelve calorie treats and purchased the smaller 2 calorie treats and I'm only giving her three of those per day. Her total intake of extras is now less than 10% of her diet. :-)
My 9.5 month old golden doodle has been having intermittent diarrhea for about 2 weeks now. I did the 24 hr fast and bland diet of boiled chicken breast with pumpkin purĂŠe (we donât do grain) for 2 days and his poop became solid again. I then mixed in his regular food which is wholehearted grain free brand for a day and now heâs back on that regularly. I always give him a bit of pumpkin purĂŠe with his first bowl of the day even before this started but after 2 days itâs getting lose again.

Obviously I am now very worried?
Is it just pumpkin that's good for anal glands or is other produce good for anal glands as well. Right now I'm giving my 17 pound dog 2 tablespoons of fruitables digestive supplement for her anal glands along with her 2/3 of a cup of kibble a day. Can I swap out 1 tablespoon of fruitables digestive supplement for another tablespoon of veggies? Or is it best to stick with the 2 tablespoons of pumpkin? Thanks!
