- My husky was about3 when we tried this food.As I’ve found out, Huskies are notoriously picky eaters. This didn’t work. The only dry foodI’ve found that she will eat without adding wet food is “Only Natural Pet” Poerfood.

Can this be used with say Purina dry kibble..? I have Purina Focus Lamb dry kibble and was thinking of using this as the topper as the dog hesitates eating the Purina. Or is this only for Whole Hearted kibble..?

I have decided to prepare Nala's food at home as opposed to store bought dog food. What would I need to add to a recipe containing following: Beef Liver 3lbs Lamb Hearts 2lbs Beef Tripe 1lb Ground Chicken 5 lbs Water - as need to incorporate beef stew bones 3lbs Brussel Sprouts .5 lb Butternut Squash 1lb Pink Himalayan Salt- 1 tbl I did cook all of this, although I know that raw is better, and then ground it all together.

new owner (haven't had a dog in 30 years) of a rescued Great Pyrenees. I feed her Rachel Ray kibbles which she seems to like but I like to add something at her dinner feeding. Is it acceptable that I cook and feed her chicken leg quarters with NO seasoning? I thoroughly shred them after cooking in the crockpot and add a cup of chicken to her kibbles. Bought purina one lamb and rice. Concerned on an ingredient. Chicken by product meal? Was taught bad for dogs and can be diesed animals. Mixing with 80 to 20 ratio of food the 80 percent is pure Balance trout and lentils grain free. But some of you say grains are good and they don’t have an allegry as they eat grained dog treats and Cheerios with no problems. Plus this food had real meat chucks and wanted to train them to eat dry food only. Thanks!
