Do not recommend. Smelled weird

Smelled weird. My dog who isn’t really picky on treats was hesitant to eat it. I smelled the bag and it has a strange chemical like odor and so we will not be using these for training. I do not recommend them at all. They also weren’t really soft treats and were rather dry.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hard as a Rock

The salmon flavor is always hard as a rock no matter how many times I buy it. Bummer, since my girl loves these little treats and is allergic to the meat flavors. Peanut butter it is!

Treats are not tender as they claim to be

My small dog has trouble eating these treats. She loves salmon, but the treat is not soft enough for her to bite down on. She has an underbite so she eats treats when they are broken down for her. She’s started learning how to eat a chew stick but is still in the awkward phase.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My pups come running for these. They are a good bite so i often cut them in half; especially when training. I like the omega benefits of the salmon.

Yes, I recommend this product.

How many treats in the bag? The photo provides no visual context to gauge their size. Without knowing how many are included, I have no real sense of my cost per treat.

  1. Hi Sophie171, The treats are roughly 1 gram per treat, this is a 170-gram bag so approximately there would be 170 treats. This item is not sold as a piece count however, so this is purely approximate. Thanks,

Is this the same Whole Hearted product as “Tender Tidbits Training Treats?  The name and packaging are a little different. I I bought the “Tender Tidbits Training Treats” just 1-2 months ago at Petco.

  1. Hi 06Emma16, Yes, they are the same treats just different packaging. Thanks,

Does this treat come in a bigger bag?

  1. Hi Cin5531, This is not offered in a larger size. This will be evaluated. Thanks,

Does the gelatin or lactic acid introduce any proteins?

  1. Hi alexiskc, The Gelatin in this recipe does contain a small amount of protein, lactic acid does not. Thanks,
