Are the ingredients only for small dogs or can I use this as a meal topper over my big dogs dry food?
- I would certainly expect it would make a great topper. My little guy loves this food, and cleans his bowl every time. Its very soft, super easy to mash and “top” off dry food. The consistency is not gravy-like, more like a Mushy paté with some “juice” included, some containers more than others. Hope this was helpful to you.

Upon opening a container, I noticed that the edges of product we’re brown while the middle remained pink. Does this need be refrigerated?
- Hi Roxie Raton, This is normal for the food as the product is cooked in the can so some scorching can occur on the outer edge where the cooking temp is the highest. A slightly pink color is normal for fully cooked chicken and beef items using this technique. Thanks,
