Made my cat sick

Aphelps

The cats wouldn’t eat it. The dog wouldn’t eat it. When the 9 month old cat got hungry enough to eat it she vomited five times over the course of a few hours. The older cats will eat it when they are desperate but they have all lost weight. Will never buy again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My Cats Love!

This dry cat food works great with my two cats. They have different pallets and they both eat this with no problems so far. I did ween them on to it slowly which i think helped, but so far so good. Neither of them have thrown up or avoided it, so that’s a win for me. I did receive this product free in exchange for my honest review of the product, but all thoughts are my own.

Does this food smell like salmon? My cat is so picky, I can't find a cat food she will eat. She only eats Temptations Cat Treats, which I know could not be good for her.

  1. Yes, it stinks like fish.

Can someone please tell me WHY the kitten version of this food doesn't have any chicken product, but the adult version does (chicken fat)???? I was hoping to just easily switch my cat (allergic to chicken) to this but now I can't.

  1. I would think this question would be for the makers of this cat food.  My cat did not digest this food well at all, and we were having to clean it up frequently... went back to the chicken and all is well.

Is this product considered gluten-free by the standards applied to human food? I noticed there are chickpeas and peas in the ingredients, and I understand that pulses are often contaminated, as are facilities that manufacture & package grain free products

  1. Hi Anonymous, This recipe is formulated without ingredients that contain gluten but are manufactured in a facility that processes wheat. Thanks,

Is this brand for all breeds and sizes and indoor outdoor cats?

  1. Hi 4xSurvivorRockyStimson, This is for all life stages and is appropriate to feed to indoor cats. Thanks,

I am looking for a cat food with low phosphorus levels. How much Phosphorus is in this food?

  1. Hi AlyH, As Fed 1.10 % Dry Matter 1.20% Energy Basis 0.31g/100kcals Thanks,

What is the magnesium content?

  1. Hi Catcatcat 11111, As Fed - .12% Dry Matter- .13% Energy Basis- 34mg/100 kcals Thanks,

What is the phosphorus content please. I have a cat with kidney disease.

  1. Hi RebelJane, Please see below: As Fed 1.10 % Dry Matter 1.20% Energy Basis 0.31g/100kcals Thanks,

I've been reading a bit about this and I find it very similar to Diamond naturals indoor cat, even the guaranteed analysis seems almost the same, can someone tell me if this equall to it? Or found this better for there cat's?

How much of the food should I feed my 8 pound cat each day?

    1. Hi LornaH, For an adult cat it should be 1/2-2/3 cups per day. Thanks,

What is the phosphorus level percent in this food??  A quick response would be appreciated!
