I was looking for a cat food that did not contain carrageenan, and joyfully found this one at my local PetCo. I had done my research online and had not come across this brand before. It was also about $.20 cheaper than what I was feeding him before. I see some of the reviews here and it’s surprising to me because it hasn’t been my experience so far. Upon opening the can I felt I could’ve taken a bite of it myself. It seemed like pure meat with an appropriate moisture level. I was concerned that my cat would not like it because of the junk food quality of the others that is so addicting to cats. But he is willing to try new things and seemed to like the change. He normally scarfs down his food in a way that is not good for him and ate this a lot slower, probably because it is not as addicting, which I prefer. I feel this is a great whole food option for him , especially at the low by comparison price it’s at. I am also glad that the variety pack doesn’t include fish, as I try to stay away from that due to concerns about phosphorus levels.

Decent ingredients, but my cats weren’t the biggest fans. It seems kinda dry, and is difficult to scrape everything out of the can. It’s almost like a fluffier/drier mousse rather than a pate

I don't know why but my cat won't touch anything by WholeHearted. That includes the dry food, wet food, and treats. He's not picky with any other brands. It's the weirdest thing. When I had a dog it was the same situation, he wouldn't eat the dry food. I think the brand overall has flavoring issues or something.

I have three indoor cats that typically eat higher end food (Ziwi, Weruva, Daves, etc.) and they would not touch any of the three flavors. I care for eight outdoor barn cats that typically eat middle to lower end food (friskies, special kitty) and they wouldn't eat it either, and they usually will eat ANYTHING. Maybe the raccoons will eat it.

    What are the ingredients of each formula? Your description says to see the photo but on mobile devices the photo quality is reduced and thus the image is too blurry to read.

      In order to read the blurry image of the ingredients, you have to “double tap on the image”. that will make the blurry image zoom and you will be able to read it very clear and sharp !
