Expectations being lowered due to the Chicken & Beef try outs not doing so well, just like the other options, again we had to drain a good portion of the “gravy” though not as much as the others. That would be the only thing we didn’t like regarding the Lamb recipe. After draining, our little girl couldn’t get it fast enough. Once she would finish, she would look up at us, as if to ask us for seconds, & that is something that she rarely ever does.

My grandpuppy (43 lb Labradoodle) thoroughly enjoyed this product... as a snack. The amount was not enough to constitute a meal for her. She gobbled it up quickly and wanted more! It works well as a “topper” to her kibble.

I was mixing a few tablespoons of this with dry dog food, and my pup LOVED IT. I'm sure he gets tired of dry food, so to keep things interesting I'd mix this into his bowl. I don't plan to switch him to a complete wet food diet, but keeping this around to add variety to his diet definitely helps.

Not the right fit for my dog

I got this in hopes to switch my special needs dog onto a different brand of food. She has no teeth and a neurological condition that makes eating difficult for her. On top of that, she has a very sensitive stomach and so far the only food I’ve been able to feed her is Blue Buffalo. I started off by mixing in a TINY amount of this into her usual food, but she vomited after eating. I figured it could be a fluke so I mixed in the same small amount next meal. Same thing. Unfortunately, I decided it wasn’t worth it to try to continue the switch. I don’t think anything is particularly wrong with the food, but it just won’t work for this certain unique dog.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My dog loved this food! I know most vet's say wet food isn't good for a dog's teeth but I don't really consider this a "wet" food. There's so many pieces of actual food in it amd the wet part is almost like a jell you'd get after you make chicken and put it in the fridge.
