I bought this product on accident, as it was in the place of the one I normally purchase (the shredded chicken and broth) I attempted to just feed her the puree and wound up having to bring the entire lot that id purchased, back to the store and then purchased two variety packs of the meat and broth as they were completely out of the shredded chicken and broth packets. I will however now be sticking with the variety packs.

I like the whole hearted kibble so i decided to try the topper for the first time. At least the chicken seamed too watery. Not much meat.

I got this for my 15 year old dog to try, but he would not eat it. He likes the chicken in gravy kind, but not this puree kind. So, I gave it to my non-picky dog and he liked it, but he pretty much likes everything. Unfortunately, after almost 2 pouches split into 5 meals he got a bad hotspot and the vet said it could be an allergy to something in his food and this stuff was the only new thing he's had. So I don't know for sure, but I'm not chancing anything. Waste of money.

This product really made my dog's food stand out. It comes in a conveniant packaging to open. The reason why I gave it 3 stars was I feel that for my dog it was not completely necessary. If you think that your dog needs some extra flavor then its perfect.
