does whole hearted dry cat food meet the requirement from AAFCO?
My cat has seizures and cannot have any herbs- especially Rosemary, which is used as a preservative in most dry cat foods. Rosemary isn't listed in the ingredients, but can someone verify this absolutely doesn't contain Rosemary please?

How is this compared to Hills? I LOVE Hills but it’s just too expensive for me right now. My cats where on Hills Perfect Weight and they loved it. Hopefully they love this just as much and don’t make them throw up.
- Start by adding small amounts of Hills to the perfect weight. Gradually increase the portion until its 100% the new food and you have no upset pet issues. And the learn to enjoy the new taste

Hi there. I was thinking about switching my cat to a better quality food. I know the first at least 3 ingredients should be chicken, chicken meal etc vs corn or grains. My cat is 20lbs. Vet told me he should be 16lbs & be on a low fat diet. I don't think his purina pro plan weight mgmt is helping anymore. Fat is 12.5% max in that food. But other foods have more fat. I wonder if a grain free diet would help keep him full longer? How many calories/cups a day he should eat? Worried about weightgain

Need high protein, no grain, no fish, good taurine and low salt and iodine below .4. Can't seem to find that info. Bought Merrick Purrfect Bistro Grain Free Chicken which met requirements. However, I read its ingredients, it contains lots of grain and carbs, meat quality and content are also very dubious (probably 4D meats).
