I buy this wet cat food all the time now. Found out another brand was making both my cats sick. I used this in the past and when covid hit I cheated out and bought another brand. After a couple of years it caught up to my fur babies. I will never cheap out on them again. This brand keeps them happy and healthy

My cats love this as much as tiki cat and weruva!! Big fans and easier on my wallet

Chicken and liver is MOSTLY liquid, with very little actual food. I bought these to feed to our cat colony because the ingredients were not horrendous like most wet food brands. And the price for a decent, grain free wet food is decent with this brand. BUT... this flavor is mostly gravy so I mix it with the Chicken Flakes flavor. This was my hack for getting my cat colony to at least have more hydration AND actual food to eat. Otherwise this flavor would be a colossal waste of money for a can of gravy. I also loved that it included liver. My personal, indoor only cat (adopted from the colony) gets Tiki After Dark for the organ meat in it. Just too costly to feed Tiki to an entire colony. So this Wholehearted brand is great. Just be advised that this one is mostly gravy and best used as maybe a "pour over" for other Chicken or turkey flavors.

My two cats love this flavor. I have one that won’t touch fish and doesn’t love pate, so I’ve been trying different chicken ones. The chicken and liver flakes are a hit for them both.

We've been feeding our two young cats Whole Hearted wet food for about 1.5 years and have finally made the decision to switch to a different brand. Overall, we liked the price and the limited, grain-free ingredients! But over time they settled on only liking the chicken and chicken & liver flavors. The chicken & liver flakes (this item) was ultimately the deciding factor to switch brands. The cats like the flavor but for the past few months, all of the flakes cans have been SO runny with hardly any flakes at all. We ended up ordering the morsels version and then mixing in the flakes because it was basically all gravy but we had so many cans of it and didn't want to just feed them soup. In addition, the brand overall, but mostly the chicken & liver flavors (flakes and morsels varieties) occasionally give our cats diarrhea.

The kittens love this food. The flakes are perfect for their little moths and the food is good quality for a good price.

This food has a LOT of water... when I shook the can, I could hear the water sloshing around inside, as opposed to the pate variety, which didn't slosh at all, and the morsels variety, which sloshed a little but not as much as the flakes. When I put the flakes in the bowl, there was about 1/2 as much food as the pate, and the rest was water.
