Yum!

My dog loved these! I put them in her food and she ate them even before her pumpkin, which is saying a lot. They smell kind of strong out of the package but I guess the smellier the better for dogs. I can't speak to them helping with her joints because she's only just tried them.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My dogs love this as a treat!

My dogs enjoyed this as a treat from the get-go. It is now two weeks after I started giving it to them and they both still get very excited when I pull the bag out. I mostly use it as a treat for them, but it does make a nice surprise topper for them, too. The pieces are a nice size (around an inch each) and low in calories (3 kcal/treat) so I like that I can give them something substantial in size without increasing their caloric content by much. If you use as a topper, make sure to reduce their primary food to adjust for the volume you use. While both of my dogs enjoy this as a treat, I'm happy to have something that adds glucosamine and chondroitin for my senior dog. Also, since the topper is freeze-dried, it is very lightweight and a little different than treats they've had before. I think they really like that variety.

Yes, I recommend this product.

When it arrived I gave it to my dog who liked it but not as much as his other treats. So what I did was a turned it into a powder and put it on top of his food and mixed it in. He did eat all of his food

No, I do not recommend this product.

My dog absolutely loved these, she got so excited when she saw the package. She loves freeze dried treat. I save some for training and we got a lot of good fundamentals down. I also gave a couple to my cats and they gobbled them down.

Great meal time treat for older dogs

My dog absolutely loved this topper! He’s an older gentleman around 13 years old so I’m always looking for things that can help with his mobility in this fits the bill. He absolutely devours it when I put it on top of his regular feed. It also works great as a treat for him. I noticed on days that I give it to him. He’s a little less stiff in the morning. I have been using it both in the morning, and in the evening feeds. When I go to grab the bag, he gets really excited too, so I know it must taste good. The only criticism I have is, I only wish that it came in a bigger bag.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Works as a treat even better than a meal topper

I have two senior teacup Yorkies. They both have arthritis. I like any treats and give them to provide some kind of benefit, especially joint relief. I do crumble these up on top of their meals, but I will also give these to them as little midday snacks, although I do have to break it up a little for my toothless senior. I honestly can’t say if this has any actual impact on their joints, but there are enough other healthy ingredients that I still feel perfectly good giving it to them as a snack.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My aging pup has some joint issues, add these to her food as a topper once a day. Besides she loves that its something different, I think they do seem to help. She seems less stiff and gets so excited when she sees me grab the bag now.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Mealtime Treat!

Kate

Our pup gave these a big 2 paws up! He loves his kibble, but getting this topper makes mealtime extra special! We were pleased to find that the pieces were intact on arrival, as many of these products are already crushed into a fine powder when you open the bag. As another reviewer mentioned, the feeding instructions are not very clear, especially regarding portion size. We had no idea what the appropriate portion was supposed to be, so we just gave our dog several pieces per serving. We like that it has Glucosamine and Chondroitin supplements to help build healthy cartilage and keep our young dog's joints healthy. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and we have been careful to give our dogs hip and joint supplements from the time they are young, which has kept them nearly free of arthritis and joint pain throughout their lives. It's a worthwhile investment into the longterm health and comfort of our fur babies!

Yes, I recommend this product.

What is a serving size? How many should go on a 90lbs dogs food?

  1. Hi Reginald0417, Good day! The serving size depends on the size and breed of the dog. Each treat has 3 kcals, and the feeding guide is on the pack: Thanks
