I bought this a couple days ago and the gut health freeze dried toppers bag had flys in it. Highly disappointed as I looked forward to adding that into my puppy’s meals.

My dog loved this topper. He can be a picky eater and anytime we put the whole heart topper on his food he gobbles it up! It was also good on his gut from what we can tell! Thank you Petco for providing this sample I’m headed to get a bigger bag now ❤️

You know how when you're trying something new and you like it but not enough to go out of your way to buy it? Well if my pup could buy her own treats, this would be the one item where she wouldn't go out of her way to purchase. If someone gave it to her, she'll eat but thats about the only way she would have it. I think she actually preferred the box it came in and kept trotting around with the box then the actual treats. From my view, the best part of this is it crumbles pretty easy, which allows for sprinkling it over her food. It also is a pretty decent amount that you get, I was expecting less.

Excellent topper or treat

My corgi prefers her meals soupy so I’ve been breaking them up and adding them to her regular moistened food. We also give her a couple dry pieces as her bedtime crate treat. She loves it. She gets diarrhea really easily, so I like the “gut health” aspects. Tolerated it well, no loose poops. The pieces keep their shape well, almost no crumbs at the bottom of the bag.

I got the WholeHearted Freeze-Dried Gut Health Dog Food Toppers for my Great Pyrenees dogs as a little dinner variety treat. I mix around 5 to 6 chunks in their dry food about twice a week. While they are generally grazers, nights when they get the toppers the food is finish in one sitting. The dogs seem love these little toppers and there is lots of tail wagging when they see me with the pouch in hand.

Even though these are for dogs, they are wonderful for getting my picky cat to eat his food! I crumble some on top of the food he ignores and like magic, he eats the topper and then the food as well. He's got me trained.

My dog loved them! She will literally pick out all the little chicken bits first before she eats her kibble. My dog has a sensitive stomach she was on Hillside prescription dog food for a long time but these did not upset her stomach at all. She’s doing great!

I added these to my dogs food and he loved them! I did find that the bag I got had some crushed so there was a large amount of powder in the bottom of the bag, but other than that my dog really enjoyed them.
