I had to bring back the cans I bought, because the ingredients was changed. My cat " cannot" have fish! This has made available food for my cat , ( can food ) even harder to attain.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great employees

I started both my older cats (10 and 15 years old). on the WholeHearted easy digestive food and it seems to be really working. Everyone there at Petco was very nice and helpful. It seems like that Store finally has a really good team. I was kind of getting worried about the quality of the employees there for a while. Seems like they’re doing much better. It’s nice to go in a neighborhood in Petco and have the staff be friendly and helpful. It makes a big difference. The Petco in Clackamas on Sunnyside Rd are the most rude, unfriendly and unknowledgeable people I’ve ever seen. A Russian woman with a heavy accent acted like I was getting in her way while she was stocking shelves. I was trying to grab a couple cans of food and she wouldn’t stop stocking the shelf for a second. Then I was in line waiting for the next cashier to open up when she looked at me and told me “the end of the line is over here.” There were about five people in line behind me. She was mistaken and thought that I needed to go behind everyone. The next gal in line after me knew I was suppose to be there and had to tell her “no she is next.” will never go in that Petco again. If they hire people from other countries that’s fine, but they need to be trained properly and need to have some manners. It made me think that that store must have been desperate when they hired her. Anyway, the Petco on Glisan was great on my last visit.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Amazing food!

My male cat has been having severe digestion issues for a year now and he is three years old. I tried this one and the other two flavors in easy digestion. My kitty is himself again; no vomiting, no diarrhea, no constipation, no refusing to eat. I tried some other cat foods before the Whole Hearted easy digestion but he would not touch them. I also have a small terrier that is on six medications for her lung and heart conditions- all six medications cause nausea. She refuses to eat any dog food. This is the only food she will eat that relieves her nausea. Petco could not have created a better cat food for both cats and dogs with severe digestive issues. Way to go Petco!

Great for sensitive tummy's

Have shelter rescue grey tuxedo that "scarfs and barfs" (from Jackson Galaxy and others). Threw up some almost every meal. Stopped immediately with Whole Hearted for sensitive stomachs and also has not come back when switched to Whole Hearted weight control. A product with better specs is no good if the cat cannot keep it down. This is a great product.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I Like it, But Cats Don't

I have two senior cats. One of them has had some ongoing stomach and litter box issues. Tried out this food and found it has indeed lead to less post-meal vomiting and softer stool, but the cats don't seem to prefer it and will let it sit in their bowls for hours. I'm going to try one of the other flavors and see how that goes. Hopefully they'll like a different flavor more.

Yes, I recommend this product.

For Easy Digest Chicken Pate, what is the percentage on dry matter percentages for phosphorous, protein, sodium, fat and carbs.

The label shown above does not say if this is a pate, or if it has been gravy and pieces.. Which is it? The label should be clear.

    1. It’s a paté.

I noticed the cans say “feed 1 can per 6-8lbs of pet’s weight per day”. But the website description says “2 cans per 6-8lbs per day”. Which is correct? I know this formula is denser than most. Thanks!!

    1. My vet says 1 can is good.  My girl (8.5lbs) eats 1 can. Any more gets wasted. My boy (10.5lbs) eats 1 big and one small can.  I put the canned food in a sm blender with some water and make it like gravy/soup so they will eat all the contents in the can. Your baby will tell you how much they need.

Why did they change the formulation? why would they make the kibble for easy digestion even larger? I can't even make a slow transition because I had no idea it was different until we opened the bag. Now no one is eating it.

Which of your wet cat foods is for kidney issues

      1. Hi pesokid, We recommend consulting a veterinarian in choosing a diet that fits the pet’s needs. If they recommend a urinary control diet, we do have one available in WholeHearted: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/wholehearted-grain-free-urinary-support-chicken-flavor-dry-cat-food Thanks

Is this food low in phosphorus and safe enough for cats with kidney issues?

      1. I would think so, my catts (2) thrive on it.

Does this product have low pH levels for cats with crystals in their bladder

      1. Hi Steve0000, Easy Digestion wet cat food was not formulated to be low PH. We recommend finding a urninary control food. WholeHearted has a dry urinary control recipe (below), but currently do not offer a wet urinary recipe. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/wholehearted-grain-free-urinary-support-chicken-flavor-dry-cat-food Thanks,

How does this compare, fibre wise to Hills prescription W/D?

What is the carbohydrate percent and grams. I have a newly diagnosed diabetic cat that really does like this formula.  Checking to see if it is compatible

        1. This may not be the most helpful answer, as I cannot remember where I read this online...but this food is considered a low carb food in cat food standards. One of the lower ones you can buy. Just this canned formula specifically. I would however contact the manufacturer for exact percentages!

Hi, can you please tell me the percentage of phosphorous and ash are as a dry matter basis for this product? Thanks!
